DGRSDT

Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the DGRSDT national calls for projects platform. Creating an account amounts to accepting them without reservation.

1. Purpose

The platform gives researchers, institutions and experts a space to publish calls for projects, submit applications, form consortia, follow up funded projects and carry out scientific evaluation.

2. Access and account

Access is reserved for people carrying out research, or supporting research, in an institution attached to a national scientific platform.

The account is strictly personal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for every operation performed from your account. Enabling two-factor authentication is strongly recommended.

3. Professional use

The platform is a professional tool. It may only be used for purposes connected with research activity: any personal, commercial, political or advertising use is prohibited.

It is in particular prohibited to upload unlawful or defamatory content or content infringing the rights of a third party, to attempt to access data your profile does not open, to extract data from the platform in bulk or to disrupt its operation.

4. Accuracy of the information

You undertake to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and to correct it as soon as it ceases to be so. Your profile data is used to examine your applications and to produce the national research statistics: inaccurate information may lead to an application being rejected.

Identity theft, the declaration of a fictitious institutional affiliation or the production of inaccurate documents engage your liability.

5. Confidentiality of evaluations

Submitted projects, review reports and deliberations are confidential. The experts and authorised staff who access them are bound by professional secrecy: they may neither disclose them, nor reproduce them, nor use them for any purpose other than the evaluation.

An expert in a conflict of interest with regard to a project must declare it and step aside.

6. Ownership of content

You keep the intellectual property of the scientific content you upload. You grant the DGRSDT the right to keep it, reproduce it and disclose it solely to the people taking part in the examination, evaluation and follow-up of your file.

The trademarks, logos and interface elements of the platform remain the property of the DGRSDT.

7. Suspension and termination

Where these terms are breached, in particular by a breach of the confidentiality of evaluations, an attempt at unauthorised access or an inaccurate declaration, the DGRSDT may suspend access to the account, after informing its holder where the security of the service allows it, and then close it.

You may at any time ask for your account to be deleted from the "My data" section. The data needed for the traceability of funding decisions is kept in an anonymised form.

8. Availability of the service

The DGRSDT endeavours to keep the platform available, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance interruptions may occur; those affecting a submission period are announced in advance and, where appropriate, offset by an extension of the deadline.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Algerian law. Any dispute concerning their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the competent Algerian courts.
